Rosa Palms 7 to 0 at the Moon Dome.
Santa Rosa fell behind quickly as the Palo Alto offense came through in the
first inning when they scored 3 runs on 5 hits. The early run support proved
sufficient for Senga(1-0) and Palo Alto. That was all the run support Senga
required. Neither team managed to score after the 4th inning.
Zack Greinke(0-1) was the loser. He surrended 3 homeruns in his 7 innings.

Shohei Ohtani dominated striking out 11 Petaluma batters and Ohtani homered
and had 3 RBI as the San Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks bested the Petaluma River
Kings 9 to 6 at Zink County Stadium.
It was a good day for San Jose KZ thanks to Ohtani. He doubled plating a run
in the 1st inning, banged out a single in the 3rd inning and clubbed a
two-run home run in the 6th inning. San Jose KZ ended up with 13 hits for
the game while Petaluma had 8.
Ohtani(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings. Max
Scherzer got the save, his 1st. Mitch Keller(1-1) absorbed the loss. By
giving up 8 runs in 5 and 2/3 innings his ERA increased from 4.15 to 6.75.
Chris O'Connor was upset after the game. 'I don't like to complain but did
you see that umpires strike zone?', he said. 'Maybe they ought to start
calling the strike zone the way it's printed in the rule book.'
