Matt Chapman ripped a bases loaded blast as the Palo Alto Pinkos topped the
Inglewood Ignats by a score of 9 to 5 at Pinko Field.
Chapman had a good day at the plate. He caught a hold of a fastball for a
Grand Slam homerun in the 2nd inning and doubled in the 8th inning. Palo
Alto totaled 12 hits on the afternoon.
The victory was credited to Kodai Senga(2-0) who went 6 innings, allowing 5
runs. Senga got relief help from Graham Ashcraft who gained credit for his
1st save. Reid Detmers(1-3) was tagged with the loss. He was hit hard and
gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings.

Santa Rosa tallied 4 runs in the 6th inning with the help of 3 hits. The key
offensive moment was provided by Andrew Vaughn who deflated the crowd as he
tripled clearing all three ducks off the pond. Selma was set down quietly in
the bottom of the 9th.
