Catcher Omar Narvaez left the yard as the Stockton OK Boomers outscored the
reeling Santa Rosa Palms 6 to 4.
 
Stockton scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning when they came up with 4 base hits.
That early run support was enough for J.P. France(2-1) and Stockton.  Santa
Rosa had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short.  
 
Tanner Banks earned the save, his 1st.  Josiah Gray(0-3) ended up with the
loss.  He allowed 5 runs and 6 hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.

Jordan Walker had 4 hits and 5 RBI as the Petaluma River Kings beat the
Fullerton Fatboys by a score of 9 to 4.
 
Walker had a big day against Fullerton.  He banged out a single in the 2nd
inning, doubled plating two runs in the 3rd inning, stroked a base-hit
scoring a run in the 5th inning and lined a one-base hit which was good for
two runs in the 9th inning.  Fullerton was out-hit by Petaluma, 13 hits to 7.
 
Sonny Gray(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings.
Gray was helped out by Abner Uribe who recorded his 3rd save.  The losing
pitcher was Jose Urquidy(0-2).  He was hit hard and gave up 9 hits and 2
walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.

Pete Alonso had 2 base hits at Banner Ig Ballpark as the red-hot Palo Alto
Pinkos staged a comeback win over the Inglewood Ignats by the count of 4 to
3.
 
Palo Alto scored the decisive runs in a big top of the 9th inning plating 3
runs using 4 hits.  Alonso kicked off the action when he doubled.  One out
later, Jorge Polanco was the next batter, but he struck out.  Logan O'Hoppe
then doubled bringing in a run.  Mark Vientos followed next and he drew a
walk.  Matt Chapman came up to bat and slapped a single scoring another run.
Dairon Blanco contributed to the rally and laced a one-base hit scoring the
final run of the inning.  Palo Alto had 9 hits for the afternoon.  
 
Freddy Peralta(2-0) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Carmen
Mlodzinski got the save, his 3rd.  Ryan Walker(0-2) absorbed the loss in
relief.  By surrending 1 run without retiring a batter his ERA jumped from
1.93 to 2.89.  
 
'We just kept swinging the bats and didn't give up,' Alonso said. 'If you just
keep trying good things can happen!'

One run was the difference at Zink County Stadium as the San Jose I Invaders
defeated the San Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks 4 to 3.
 
San Jose I took the lead for good in the top of the 2nd inning as they scored
2 runs on 2 base hits.  Both teams finished the game with 6 hits.  
 
The victory was credited to George Kirby(1-0) who went 6 and 1/3 innings,
allowing 2 runs. Tyler Glasnow recorded the save, his 2nd.  Zack Littell(1-1)
was the loser.
