Reid Detmers came through with a solid 7 innings and Shea Langeliers touched
them all as the Inglewood Ignats defeated the Stockton OK Boomers 3 to 1 at
Banner Ig Ballpark.
Inglewood started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first when they tallied 2 runs on 2 hits. That scoring would be all that
was needed. The pitchers took over after the 4th inning as neither team was
able to score again.
Detmers(1-1) got the win allowing 1 run in 7 innings. Jose Butto preserved the
game for Detmers, recording his his 2nd save. Garrett Whitlock(0-1) was
given the loss. He allowed 3 runs and 5 hits in 5 and 1/3 innings.

Strider(2-0) pitched one of his finer games as he simply was too much for the
Fullerton batters. He surrendered only 4 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings
reducing his ERA from 3.68 to 2.35. Overall Santa Rosa out-hit Fullerton 9
to 5.
Yu Darvish(0-2) was the losing pitcher. He surrended 3 homeruns in his 8
innings. Strider was pleased with his performance. He noted, 'I had good
command of all my pitches. Just as important, my location was right on.'

Gregory Santos had a strong outing and first baseman Matt Olson went deep and
had 2 RBI as the San Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks defeated the Petaluma River Kings
by the score of 4 to 3 at Murphy Field.
Petaluma was unable to climb back into it after San Jose KZ went ahead for
good in the top of the 2nd inning scoring a single run. Justin Turner
reached on an error. Jacob Stallings followed next and he laid down a
sacrifice bunt. Ramon Laureano then doubled scoring the run. After the 3rd
inning, neither team was able to score.
The victory went to Zack Littell(1-0) who went 5 and 1/3 innings, allowing 3
runs. Littell got help from Santos who was credited with his 2nd save.
Mackenzie Gore(0-2) was charged with the loss.

Pete Alonso launched 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Palo Alto Pinkos beat the
San Jose I Invaders by a score of 8 to 7.
Alonso provided much of the offense. He bombed a two-run dinger in the 3rd
inning and clubbed a solo home run in the 7th inning. San Jose I had a
chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Quinn Priester(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 2 and 1/3
innings. Carmen Mlodzinski gained credit for his 1st save. Shane Bieber(0-1)
was hit with the loss in relief.
