Kitchen Zinks won a thriller over the Inglewood Ignats in, 4 to 3.
The game was won by San Jose KZ when they scored a run in the 9th inning.
After two were out Patrick Wisdom ripped a single. Wisdom got a great jump
and stole second easily. Jazz Chisholm then laced a single giving San Jose
KZ the win and sending the home town fans into a frenzy. San Jose KZ totaled
8 hits on the afternoon.
The victory went to Brock Burke(2-0) who went 2/3 of an inning, allowing no
runs. Jose Butto(0-2) was charged with the loss in relief.

One run was the difference at Fatboy Stadium as the Fullerton Fatboys defeated
the Selma Stompers 3 to 2.
Justin Verlander(2-1) pitched a solid game. He went 7 innings and surrended
up 8 hits and 3 walks. Verlander chalked up 8 strikeouts. After the 4th
inning, neither team was able to score.
Verlander got relief help from Chase Silseth who gained credit for his 1st
save. The loss was charged to Brayan Bello(2-1). 'I was a little good, a
little bad and a little ugly.' said Verlander, 'I was just giving us a chance
to win.'

Zack Wheeler reeled off a total of 13 strikeouts as the San Jose I Invaders
defeated the Santa Rosa Palms in 10 innings 2 to 1 at the Invaderdome.
The game was deadlocked at 1 after nine full innings. Finally, San Jose I
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. After two were out Ryan Mountcastle
was walked intentionally. Daulton Varsho stepped into the batter's box and
he reached on an error. Gleyber Torres then ripped a base-hit resulting in
an exciting win for San Jose I and a raucous post-game celebration by the
home town fans. San Jose I had 7 hits for the afternoon.
Matt Manning(3-0) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. The losing
pitcher was Tyler Holton(0-1) in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 4 hits in 2
and 2/3 innings.

J.P. France racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts and first baseman
Anthony Rizzo left the yard and had 3 RBI at Murphy Field as the Stockton OK
Boomers beat the Petaluma River Kings by the count of 7 to 5.
Stockton scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning scoring 2 runs utilizing
3 base hits. After an out was recorded, Rizzo jump-started the scoring when
he ripped a solo home run. George Springer followed and he doubled. Johan
Rojas was next to the plate, but was promptly struck out. Kris Bryant was up
next and he doubled scoring the final run of the inning. Stockton rapped out
9 hits for the afternoon.
Louie Varland(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 1 inning and allowing
no runs. Varland was helped out by George Soriano who recorded his 3rd save.
Edward Cabrera(0-2) was hit with the loss in relief.
