In a close game the Fullerton Fatboys came in to the game in quite a tailspin,
but they were able to snap their 5 game slide and got by the Santa Rosa Palms
by the score of 6 to 4.
Yu Darvish(1-2) delivered a fine performance for Fullerton. He went 6 and 2/3
innings surrendering 5 hits and 1 walk dropping his ERA from 5.40 to 4.57.
Fullerton had 11 hits for the afternoon while Santa Rosa had 8.
Robert Suarez earned the save, his 1st. Dinelson Lamet(0-1) was tagged with
the loss in relief. Fullerton scored big getting 4 runs off him in 3 and 1/3
innings.

Zac Gallen had a strong outing as the Palo Alto Pinkos beat the Stockton OK
Boomers by a score of 8 to 0.
Palo Alto took the lead for good in the 2nd inning scoring 2 runs on 3 base
hits. Xander Bogaerts led off and started the attack as he singled. After
an out was recorded, Jorge Polanco stepped in and he doubled plating a run.
Manuel Margot then laced a single scoring the final run of the inning. That
was all the offense they were to need. Palo Alto finished with 10 hits while
Stockton ended up with 4.
The win went to Gallen(2-0) who allowed no runs in 8 innings. Michael
Kopech(0-2) was hit with the loss. He got hit hard, allowing 6 hits and 4
