The Inglewood Ignats offense put up 4 runs on the scoreboard in the 5th inning
and edged the Fullerton Fatboys in 10 innings at Banner Ig Ballpark by the
score of 6 to 5.
The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Finally, Inglewood
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. Alex Dickerson doubled. After an
out was recorded, Devon Travis stepped up to the plate and he doubled making
Inglewood the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Inglewood
banged out 8 hits on the afternoon.
Alex Claudio(2-0) went 2/3 of an inning allowing no runs for the victory.
Hunter Strickland(0-2) ended up with the loss in relief. He surrendered 1
run and 2 hits in 1/3 of an inning.

The Palo Alto Pinkos ended a long winless drought and nipped the Stockton
Delta Kings in 10 innings 6 to 5 at Billy Hebert Field in a hard fought
contest.
The score was tied at 5 after nine. Palo Alto came out the victor in the 10th
inning. Justin Upton stroked a one-base hit. Upton got a good lead and
stole second. Andrew McCutchen was next to the plate, but was promptly
struck out. After another out, Kennys Vargas came to bat and drew a walk.
Melvin Upton Jr stepped into the box and lined a base-hit scoring the run.
Palo Alto had 14 hits for the afternoon.
Andrew Triggs(2-0) got the win allowing no runs in 2 and 2/3 innings. The
losing pitcher was Trevor Rosenthal(1-3) in relief. He allowed 2 runs and 2
hits in 1 and 2/3 innings.

Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings. Selma ended up
winning it in the 10th inning. Buster Posey was hit by a pitch. Salvador
Perez stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk. After an out was
recorded, Hunter Pence then ripped a base-knock scoring the run. Selma
managed 10 hits in their victory.
