Tanner Roark allowed only 3 hits resulting in a big goose egg on the
scoreboard for Stockton at Billy Hebert Field as the Fullerton Fatboys
embarrassed the Stockton Delta Kings by the lopsided score of 13 to 0.
Roark(1-0) was virtually untouchable. He didn't give up much, just 3 hits and
1 walk in 9 innings lowering his ERA to 2.84. Fullerton had 13 hits for the
afternoon.
Daniel Norris(1-1) ended up with the loss. He struggled with his control
issuing 5 walks in 2 and 2/3 innings. 'When Roark is on like that it is a
tough game to play, no doubt about it,' Chris O'Connor said. 'He always
pitches well against us.'
