41,420 fans watched an exciting game at Billy Hebert Field.  The Selma
Stompers topped the Stockton Delta Kings by the slimmest of margins, 7 to
6.
 
Selma scored 4 runs in the decisive top of the 7th inning with the help of 5
hits.  The biggest moment was provided by Domingo Santana who silenced the
crowd when he lashed a single plating two runs.  Stockton threatened in the
9th but Selma was able to put down the rally.  
 
The victory went to Tyler Anderson(1-0) who went 1 and 1/3 innings, allowing 4
runs. Anderson got relief help from Luke Weaver who gained credit for his 1st
save.  Kevin Gausman(0-3) was the loser.

The Santa Rosa Palms edged the San Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks at the Moon Dome by
the score of 4 to 3.
 
The deciding run was scored by Santa Rosa in the bottom of the 8th.  After an
out was recorded, Asdrubal Cabrera lofted a solo-blast 'downtown'.  San Jose
KZ tried unsuccessfully to come back in the 9th.  
 
Jacob Barnes(1-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Hector Santiago(0-2) was hit with the loss.  He served up 3 homeruns
in his 7 and 1/3 innings.

The Palo Alto Pinkos toppled the San Jose I Invaders by a 7 to 3 score at the
Invaderdome.
 
Palo Alto took the lead for good in the top of the 3rd inning as they scored 2
runs on 2 base hits.  The highlight belonged to Yasmani Grandal who silenced
the Invaderdome as he doubled which was good for two runs.  Palo Alto had 11
hits for the game and San Jose I had 7.  
 
German Marquez(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 and 1/3 innings and
allowing 3 runs. Aaron Sanchez gained credit for his 2nd save.  Julio
Teheran(1-1) suffered the loss.

Nomar Mazara had 2 base hits and 4 RBI and Danny Barnes shut Inglewood down as
the Fullerton Fatboys bested the Inglewood Ignats 7 to 4 at Banner Ig
Ballpark.
 
Fullerton brought 4 runs across the plate in the top of the 7th inning with
the help of 4 hits.  The crucial at-bat was provided by Trey Mancini who
quieted the crowd when he smashed a two-run homer.  Barnes was perfect in the
ninth giving him his 2nd save on the season.  
 
Felix Hernandez(1-0) went 7 innings allowing 4 runs for the win. Kelvin
Herrera(0-1) was the loser in relief.  He gave up 2 runs and 2 hits in 2/3 of
an inning.
