Castillo provided much of the offense. He stroked a one-base hit in the 1st
inning, hit a bases-empty home run in the 6th inning and belted a three-run
homer in the 7th inning. San Jose KZ had 12 hits for the game and Stockton
had 9.
James Russell(1-1) got the win allowing no runs in 1 inning. Seth Maness
preserved the game for Russell, recording his his 1st save. The losing
pitcher was Daniel Norris(1-1).

Fullerton had the game winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs on 3 hits. After an out was recorded, Davis opened up the scoring as he blasted a solo shot. Jackie Bradley Jr was next and he drew a walk. Evan Longoria got his chance to keep things going, but he went down on strikes. Caleb Joseph followed next and he slapped a one-base hit. Jace Peterson stepped into the box and delivered a base-hit making Fullerton the victor and beginning a joyous home town celebration. Fullerton had a total of 8 hits for the game. The victory was credited to David Price(1-0) who went 1 and 2/3 innings, allowing no runs. Yordano Ventura(1-1) was charged with the loss. He pitched 8 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 hits and 1 walk. 'We just wouldn't give up,' Davis said. 'Much of the credit goes to our fans - they were with us the whole way.'

Evan Gattis had 3 base hits and 2 RBI as the Inglewood Ignats outscored the
Selma Stompers in 12 innings 7 to 6.
Both teams were tied at 4 runs apiece after nine innings. Finally, Inglewood
pulled the game out in the 12th inning. Adrian Gonzalez led off the inning
for Inglewood when he lashed a single. Wilson Ramos followed and he doubled.
Gattis then doubled scoring two baserunners. After an out was recorded,
Derek Dietrich stepped up to the plate and he hit a single making Inglewood
victorious to the delight of the the home town crowd. Inglewood managed 14
hits in their victory.
Jeurys Familia(1-0) went 3 and 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs for the victory.
Matt Harvey(0-2) took the loss in relief. He allowed a few too many
baserunners giving up 8 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
