Hector Santiago had a complete game at Selma Coliseum as the San Jose KZ
Kitchen Zinks beat the Selma Stompers 9 to 1.
 
Selma fell behind quickly as the San Jose KZ offense came through in the first
inning scoring 4 runners on 3 hits.  The early run support proved sufficient
for Santiago(2-0) and San Jose KZ.  That was all the run support Santiago
required.  San Jose KZ had a total of 12 hits for the game.  
 
Anthony Desclafani(0-2) absorbed the loss.  He pitched 2/3 of an inning giving
up 3 hits and 1 walk.

    Kevin Siegrist closed it out for Santa Rosa at the Invaderdome where the Santa
    Rosa Palms beat the San Jose I Invaders 7 to 5.
     
    Santa Rosa tallied 3 runs in the top of the 7th inning with the help of 3
    hits.  After an out was recorded, Delino Deshields started the attack as he
    drew a walk.  Stephen Piscotty came next and he doubled which scored a run.
    Michael Conforto then cracked a two-run shot.  The score went back-and-forth
    with the lead changing 5 times.  
     
    Alexi Ogando(2-0) was the winner allowing 1 run in 2 and 2/3 innings. Ogando
    got relief help from Siegrist who gained credit for his 1st save.  Julio
    Teheran(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief.

In a good matchup it was the Palo Alto Pinkos 5, the Fullerton Fatboys 2 at
Fatboy Stadium.
 
Palo Alto had the game winning rally in the top of the 9th inning with 3 runs
on 3 base hits.  After an out was recorded, Andrelton Simmons kicked off the
action when he doubled.  One out later, Melvin Upton Jr came to bat and
slapped a one-base hit scoring a single run.  Todd Frazier then bombed a
two-run dinger.  Palo Alto finished with 10 hits while Fullerton ended up
with 6.  
 
The victory went to Jesse Hahn(2-0) who went 2 and 2/3 innings, allowing no
runs. Wade Miley(0-2) was charged with the loss.  He allowed 9 hits and 2
walks in 8 and 2/3 innings.

One run was the difference at Banner Ig Ballpark as the Inglewood Ignats
defeated the Stockton Delta Kings in 10 innings 4 to 3.
 
Both teams had scored 3 runs after nine full innings.  Inglewood ended up
winning it in the 10th inning.  Danny Santana hit a single.  Adrian Gonzalez
stepped into the batter's box and he drew a walk.  Evan Gattis then laced a
base-hit, and an error was also committed, giving Inglewood the win as 48,731
happy fans joyfully celebrated.  Inglewood had 12 hits overall, while
Stockton had 6.  
 
Chris Archer(1-0) allowed 1 run in 3 innings, and picked up the victory. The
loss was charged to Carlos Martinez(0-2) in relief.  He surrendered 3 runs
and 6 hits in 1 and 1/3 innings.
