Catcher Drake Baldwin slammed a home run and had 2 RBI as the seemingly
unstoppable Selma Stompers beat the Palo Alto Pinkos by a score of 7 to 5.
Selma scored 3 runs in the top of the 2nd inning when they had 4 base hits.
They would be enough to earn the win. Palo Alto had a chance in the 9th but
they came up short.
The winning pitcher was Pablo Lopez(2-0) who allowed 4 runs in 7 and 1/3
innings. Lopez got help from Tony Santillan who was credited with his 3rd
save. Freddy Peralta(0-2) was hit with the loss. He was knocked around by
Selma, allowing 7 hits and 4 walks in 4 and 2/3 innings.
Selma added another win to their now very impressive winning streak.
