Trea Turner homered as the Fullerton Fatboys defeated the San Jose Kitchen
Zinks by a score of 8 to 7 at Fatboy Stadium.
 
Fullerton jumped on top of San Jose KZ in the 7th inning plating an isolated
run.  Both teams ended up with 9 hits on the afternoon.  
 
Justin Martinez(3-0) went 2 innings allowing no runs for the win. Martinez was
helped out by Alexis Diaz who recorded his 4th save.  Pedro Avila(3-3) was
the loser in relief.  He surrendered 3 hits and no walks in 4 and 1/3
innings.

Selma drew first blood jumping out to an early lead in the first inning when
they came up with 2 runs on 3 hits.  Selma ended up with 8 hits for the game
while San Jose I had 4.  
 
Tanner Houck(4-1) was the winner allowing 3 runs in 8 innings. Ben Joyce
gained credit for his 8th save.  George Kirby(3-2) was charged with the loss.

Erik Miller(1-0) was the winning pitcher in relief.  He went 2 and 2/3 innings
surrendering 1 hit and 2 walks reducing his ERA from 2.41 to 2.11.  Palo Alto
threatened in the 9th but Inglewood was able to put down the rally.
 
Emmanuel Clase preserved the game for Miller, recording his 9th save.  Blake
Snell(4-4) took the loss.  He was hit hard and gave up 8 hits and 2 walks in 
4 innings.

48,560 fans watched an exciting game at Murphy Field.  The Fullerton Fatboys
topped the Petaluma River Kings by the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4.
 
Justin Martinez(2-0) got the win with a nice relief outing.  He didn't give up
much, just 1 hit and no walks in 1 and 1/3 innings.  Overall Fullerton
out-hit Petaluma 10 to 5.  
 
Porter Hodge got the save, his 9th.  Tarik Skubal(3-4) was given the loss.
Although losing the contest, he whiffed 8 batters in 5 and 2/3 innings.
