Spencer Horwitz slammed 2 homeruns at Zink County Stadium where the San Jose
KZ Kitchen Zinks beat the Inglewood Ignats in 10 innings 9 to 8.
 
The score was knotted at 8 after nine innings.  Finally, San Jose KZ pulled
the game out in the 10th inning.  Caballero proceeded to steal third base.
Willy Adames came to the plate and drew a walk.  San Jose KZ continued their
aggressive style with another stolen base.  Christian Walker was next to the
plate, but was promptly struck out.  Matt Wallner came up to bat and hit a
sacrifice fly making San Jose KZ the victor and beginning a joyous home town
celebration.  Although they lost, Inglewood did out-hit San Jose KZ 12 to 8.
 
Hunter Stratton(3-0) picked up the victory, allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3
innings. Jhoan Duran(0-1) was hit with the loss in relief.  San Jose KZ
scored big getting 3 runs off him in 2 and 1/3 innings.

The game was deadlocked at 2 after nine full innings.  Fullerton won it in the
10th inning.  Brayan Rocchio doubled making Fullerton victorious to the
delight of the the home town crowd.  Fullerton had a total of 8 hits for the
game.  
 
Brenan Hanifee(2-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Walker Buehler(0-1) was tagged with the loss in relief.  He was a hard-luck

Leo Jimenez hit one over the fence and had 3 RBI at Pinko Field where the Palo
Alto Pinkos beat the Inglewood Ignats 6 to 5.
 
In the 7th inning Palo Alto scored 3 runs when they had 4 base hits.  After
two were out Jhonkensy Noel got things rolling when he singled.  Trent
Grisham stepped up next and he doubled bringing in a run.  Logan O'Hoppe then
was walked intentionally.  Michael Harris stepped in and he ripped a single
to load the bases.  Jimenez stepped into the box and lined a one-base hit
accounting for two more runs.  Palo Alto banged out 11 hits on the afternoon.
 
The victory went to Carmen Mlodzinski(2-1) who went 3 and 2/3 innings,
allowing 3 runs. Jack Kochanowicz(1-2) was given the loss.  He allowed 10
hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.

Nick Madrigal had 2 base hits and 2 RBI as the Santa Rosa Palms defeated the
Selma Stompers 7 to 2 at Selma Coliseum.
 
Jhony Brito(1-1) was brilliant in relief and registered the victory.  He
didn't allow much, just 3 hits and no walks in 4 innings lowering his ERA to
3.75.  For the game Santa Rosa out-hit Selma 13 to 6.  
 
Brito got help from Tyler Holton who was credited with his 1st save.  Pablo
Lopez(1-2) was the losing pitcher.  He gave up 4 runs and 6 hits in 6 and 1/3
innings.

George Springer smashed 3 homeruns and had 4 RBI and Bryce Miller retired 11
batters on strikeouts as the Stockton OK Boomers defeated the San Jose KZ
Kitchen Zinks by a score of 8 to 1 at Zink County Stadium.
 
Springer propelled Stockton to victory.  He popped a two-run clout over the
fence in the 3rd inning, cracked a solo homerun in the 7th inning and
delivered a solo blast in the 9th inning.  Stockton had many opportunities
throughout the game and scored in 6 separate innings.  
 
Miller(3-0) allowed 1 run in 8 innings, and picked up the victory. The loss
was charged to Luis Gil(2-1).  He was touched for 3 homeruns in his 7 innings
of work.  
 
'I had my good stuff today.' Miller said. 'As the game went along I started to
get the feeling that I was going to strike out a bunch of hitters.'

Ke'Bryan Hayes came to bat and doubled.  Zach Neto then was walked
intentionally.  Evan Carter followed next and he smacked a single resulting
in an exciting win for San Jose I and a wild post-game celebration by the
home town fans.  San Jose I had 9 hits overall, while Petaluma had 5.

First baseman Pete Alonso cracked a homer and had 2 RBI as the Palo Alto
Pinkos defeated the Fullerton Fatboys in 12 innings by the score of 9 to 8 at
Pinko Field.
 
The game was deadlocked at 7 after nine full innings.  Palo Alto won the game
in the 12th inning.  After an out was recorded, Michael Harris delivered a
base-hit making Palo Alto the victor and beginning a joyous home town
celebration.  A wild and woolly affair, this game saw the lead change 5
times.  
 
The winning pitcher was Jonathan Cannon(2-0) who allowed no runs in 2 and 2/3
innings. The loss was charged to Justin Martinez(1-1) in relief.  It was a
tough loss for him as he did not allow an earned run in his 2 and 1/3 innings
of work.

George Kirby mowed down 11 Selma batters and Junior Caminero had 2 base hits
and 4 RBI as the San Jose I Invaders defeated the Selma Stompers 6 to 4 at
the Invaderdome.
 
Kirby(3-0) earned his pay with a solid performance for San Jose I.  He
surrendered 7 hits and 1 walk in 8 innings and surrendered 3
'round-trippers'.  Kirby was helped out by Gerrit Cole who pitched a perfect
ninth and recorded his 2nd save.  
 
Chris Sale(1-1) was tagged with the loss.  He pitched 8 innings allowing 11
hits and no walks. Kirby was pleased with his performance.  He noted, 'I had
good zip on my pitches.  Just as important, my location was right on.  The
fans really got into the game too - that always helps me.  Now, if I can only
do that again in my next outing.'

In a game for the baseball purist, Bryan Woo(3-0) and Luis Severino(0-2)
squared off in a tense pitching duel, Inglewood Ignats finally emerged
victorious over Stockton OK Boomers, 2 to 1.
 
Inglewood came up with the deciding runs in the 8th inning plating 2 runs on 2
hits.  After an out was recorded, Cody Bellinger began the Inglewood spurt
when he delivered a solo blast.  Paul Goldschmidt followed next and he drew a
walk.  Lourdes Gurriel then drew a walk.  Andres Gimenez followed and he
ripped a base-knock scoring the final run of the inning.  The game was a
scoreless duel until the 8th inning.
