Dominic Smith cracked 2 homeruns at Fatboy Stadium as the Palo Alto Pinkos
beat the Fullerton Fatboys 11 to 4.
Smith enjoyed a big day at the plate. He ripped a single in the 2nd inning,
clubbed a two-run home run in the 6th inning and emptied the bases with a
Grand Slam homerun in the 7th inning. Palo Alto had 15 hits for the game and
Fullerton had 7.
Carlos Rodon(1-1) got the win allowing no runs in 3 and 1/3 innings. Arodys
Vizcaino(2-2) was charged with the loss in relief. 'I've spent a lot of time
in the cage and made some adjustments and they've paid off,' Smith said. 'I
just take the same approach up there. I don't overanalyze it. I go up there,
see the ball and try to put a good swing on it.'
