Nomar Mazara had 4 hits and 4 RBI as the Fullerton Fatboys topped the
Inglewood Ignats by a score of 12 to 9 at Fatboy Stadium.
Mazara made sure the Fullerton fans enjoyed themselves. He lined a single
which plated a run in the 2nd inning, slapped a base-hit in the 4th inning,
ripped a one-base hit in the 6th inning and lofted a three-run 'big-fly' in
the 7th inning. The game was a wild affair with the lead changing hands 5
times.
The victory went to Arodys Vizcaino(1-1) who went 1 inning, allowing 2 runs.
Dellin Betances(0-1) took the loss in relief. He was knocked around pretty
good, giving up 8 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.
Ozzie Albies rocketed 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI but his offense was not enough
to carry Inglewood to victory.
