Bobby Dalbec knocked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI and Jacob Degrom came through
with a solid 4 innings at Zink County Stadium as the San Jose KZ Kitchen
Zinks staged a comeback win over the San Jose I Invaders by the count of 9 to
8.
San Jose KZ scored the winning runs in the 9th inning when they tallied 4 runs
on 3 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Jazz Chisholm who made
the home-town crowd a happy bunch when he lost the ball over the fence for
three runs. Although they lost, San Jose I did out-hit San Jose KZ 14 to 10.
The victory went to Degrom(1-0) who went 4 innings, allowing no runs. Drew
Pomeranz(0-1) absorbed the loss in relief. 'Wow, that was fun!', Degrom said
following the game. 'Once in a while you play a game that reminds you just
why you got into this business to begin with!'
