First baseman David Bote ripped 2 homeruns and had 5 RBI as the Palo Alto
Pinkos defeated the Fullerton Fatboys in 10 innings 9 to 8 at Pinko
Field.

The game was deadlocked at 8 after nine full innings. Palo Alto came out the
victor in the 10th inning. Xander Bogaerts drew a walk. After an out was
recorded, Bote came to bat and doubled. Jose Briceno then stroked a single
resulting in a mighty exciting win for Palo Alto and the 27,193 home town
fans in attendance. Palo Alto had 12 hits for the afternoon.

The win went to Marcus Stroman(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings.
Johnny Cueto(0-1) was the loser in relief. He allowed 3 hits and 1 walk in 1
and 2/3 innings.

'Everything seemed to click today,' Bote said 'if it could only be this easy
all the time!'
