The Santa Rosa Palms came roaring back in the top of the ninth to spoil the
anticipated celebration of the hometown fans. The final score was 10 to 5.
Santa Rosa put a big number on the board in the 9th inning, which proved too
much for Stockton to overcome as they showed no mercy on Stockton blasting
them for 9 hits and plating 10 runs. The key offensive moment was provided
by Johan Camargo who quieted the crowd when he slapped a base-hit plating two
runs. Santa Rosa ended up with 12 hits for the game while Stockton had 4.
The win was credited to Brad Boxberger(1-1) who went 1 inning allowing no
runs. Boxberger got help from Jacob Barnes who earned his 1st save. Jose
Torres(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief.
Jason Welco was estatic following the game. 'You love stealing one on the
road like this. We just kept plugging away until we pulled it out!'

Designated hitter Adam Frazier smacked 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the San
Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks defeated the Selma Stompers 5 to 4 at Selma
Coliseum.
Frazier had a good day at the plate. He ripped a solo home run in the 1st
inning, clubbed a two-run home run in the 2nd inning and doubled in the 9th
inning. San Jose KZ had 12 hits for the afternoon while Selma had 8.
The win went to Michael Wacha(1-0) who allowed 4 runs in 6 and 1/3 innings.
Miguel Castro earned the save, his 1st. Jameson Taillon(0-1) suffered the
loss. He got hit pretty hard, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks in 5 and 1/3

best stuff,' Trevor Zink said after the game. 'Wacha did not have command of
his pitches most of the afternoon, but he proved he really knew how to
pitch!'
