Pablo Lopez mowed down 11 Inglewood batters as the Selma Stompers beat the
Inglewood Ignats by a score of 6 to 2.
Lopez(3-5) pitched well for Selma in their victory. He went 7 innings
allowing 5 hits and 1 walk dropping his ERA from 5.19 to 4.91. The pitchers
took over after the 2nd inning as neither team was able to score again.
Robbie Ray(4-6) took the loss. Jerry Unger was asked about the performance of
Lopez. 'He had his good stuff out there this afternoon. The fans really get
into it when the strikeouts start mounting up - and that seems to give him
even more adrenalin.'
