Gavin Stone(1-1) and Dylan Cease(0-1) treated the San Jose I fans to a fine
pitching duel at the Invaderdome.  The Inglewood Ignats eventually emerged as
victors over the San Jose I Invaders by the score of 2 to 0.
 
Stone pitched a fine game.  He went 7 innings allowing 5 hits and 3 walks
lowering his ERA from 2.57 to 1.29.  Both teams ended up with 6 hits on the
afternoon.  
 
Ryan Walker recorded the save, his 2nd.

The Selma Stompers had very little trouble at Selma Coliseum downing the
Fullerton Fatboys.  The score was 6 to 1.
 
Selma jumped on top of Fullerton in the 2nd inning scoring one runner
utilizing 2 base hits.  Selma had 10 hits for the game and Fullerton had 7.
 
The win went to Garrett Crochet(1-0) who allowed no runs in 5 innings. The
losing pitcher was Justin Steele(0-2).  By giving up 5 runs in 5 and 2/3
innings his ERA increased from 1.17 to 3.38.

First baseman Pete Alonso ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Palo Alto
Pinkos defeated the San Jose KZ Kitchen Zinks by a score of 8 to 2 at Zink
County Stadium.
 
Alonso was a seemingly constant irritant to the hometown fans as he provided
much of the offense for the visitors.  He smashed a solo-shot out of the park
in the 8th inning and lofted a three-run bomb in the 9th inning.  Overall
Palo Alto out-hit San Jose KZ 12 to 4.  
 
The victory went to Zac Gallen(1-1) who went 6 innings, allowing 2 runs.
Jordan Wicks got the save, his 1st.  Spencer Arrighetti(0-2) was tagged with
the loss.

The Stockton OK Boomers edged the Petaluma River Kings at Billy Hebert Field
by the score of 5 to 4.
 
In the bottom of the 5th inning Stockton scored 2 runs.  The biggest moment
was provided by Seth Brown who made the Stockton fans a happy lot when he
blasted a two-run home run.  Petaluma threatened in the 9th but Stockton was
able to put down the rally.  
 
J.P. Sears(1-1) got credit for the victory, pitching 8 innings and allowing 3
runs. Tyler Ferguson preserved the game for Sears, recording his his 1st
save.  Mitch Keller(0-1) was hit with the loss.  He gave up 5 runs and 9 hits
in 7 and 2/3 innings.
