Brice Turang had 3 base hits as the Fullerton Fatboys defeated the San Jose KZ
Kitchen Zinks in 10 innings 5 to 4 at Zink County Stadium.
The game was deadlocked at 3 after nine full innings. Finally, Fullerton
pulled the game out in the 10th inning. After an out was recorded, Austin
Hays keyed the rally when he hit a single. Wenceel Perez stepped up to the
plate and he worked the squeeze play to perfection which brought home a run.
Jared Triolo then was walked intentionally. Turang followed next and he
lined a single scoring the final run of the inning. Fullerton totaled 10
hits on the afternoon.
Michael Soroka(1-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 4 innings. Justin
Martinez recorded his 2nd save. The loss was charged to Nick Anderson(0-1)

The victory was credited to Mitch Keller(1-1) who went 5 and 1/3 innings, allowing 4 runs. Keller was helped out by Brusdar Graterol who recorded his 2nd save. Tobias Myers(1-2) absorbed the loss. He was knocked around pretty good, giving up 6 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings. 'I just wanted to give my team a chance to win.' said Keller, 'I got burned on a couple of pitches.
