Bryce Miller whiffed 10 batters as the Stockton OK Boomers topped the
Fullerton Fatboys by a score of 3 to 0 at Fatboy Stadium.
Miller(2-0) was simply too much for the Fullerton batters. He allowed just 1
hit and 1 walk in 8 innings lowering his ERA from 1.13 to 0.56. The pitchers
took over after the 4th inning as neither team was able to score again.
Tyler Ferguson earned the save, his 2nd. Slade Cecconi(0-1) was tagged with
the loss. Miller, when asked about his 10 strikeout performance noted, 'The
important thing is that we won, if I get 20 and we lose, what good does it do
our team? But, on the other hand, since we won it feels great!'
